Field Pro DF354-Need a starter

I have a 2007 Field Pro DF354 and the starter went bad. I took it to a shop and they said they could not rebuild it and ended up taking it to the scrap yard. I am trying to find a replacement for it. I ordered one from Amazon and I thought it was going to work, but the bolt pattern was just a little too small. Can anyone help point me in the right direction? Thanks!

You should not have taken it to the scrap yard. The local starter shop may have been able to locate a suitable replacement. I had a similar problem and the local shop found a brand new replacement. You might give them a try.

I did not take it to the scrap yard. The rebuild shop I took it to ended up taking it to the scrap yard without my permission. They looked for a replacement and said that they could not find one...
