I bought a used farmpro 20 horse 2 cylinder. What engine oil should I use to change the oil and filters for a fresh start in maintaining my "putt putt" as my wife calls it?

I use any brand 15w-40 in mine that's rated for diesel. Any american oil is better than anything the chinese had in it.

I also use Napa Gold filters on mine. Fuel and oil.
