It’s very much fall in northern New Mexico. Been raining off and on all week and the aspen leaves in the mountains are at peak color. We rode the chair lift in the ski area to 11,500’ elevation, but it was in the clouds and not very scenic.

Yeah, we don’t have seasons in south Louisiana. It’s nice to see and travel places that do, but just to visit. :)

One of my sons lives in Baton Rouge. You do have two seasons: hot and humid and mild and delightful.

Wife has family in Lafayette and I remember seeing the pics of the freak snow yall had so occasionally you get winter.

Last winter was a first. I’m 15-20 miles north of Lafayette. We had 10” on the ground at my house. I’ve been here 52 years and can’t recall another time that has happened. Lasted less than a week, but yeah, that was winter for us. :ROFLMAO:

Foliage peaked here around first day of fall. Not as vivid as some years since it's been dry. Most leaves are down now. Tamaracks haven't changed color yet.

Peaceful feeling view the mother nature handy work with her paint brush. :)

Foliage around here dull colors to because lack of rain. :(
