Can't speak on the quadco but I've been running the cobra teeth, non carbide, for a couple of months. They don't like rock but are wearing pretty good in my conditions.
The bolt gets packed with debris but a small point will clean it out easily. I think the debris protects the bolt.. It's easy to loosen and flip the tooth to the other cutting edge.
The carbides were junk. They literally failed 30 minutes into using them. I don't know if it a problem with the carbide attachment process or just a poor design, but where the non carbides have 60 hours per side so far and are doing pretty good, the carbides were taken off. Once you have the holder, you can use either type. Maybe I had a bad batch but the carbide literally just separated cleanly from the tooth. No chips out of carbide, clean break on all of them.
