do not be offended if a fellow PT owner does not offer you any seat time on their unit, when I bought mine in 2007 I was unable to look at one in person or get seat time, even though a fellow PT owner lived less than 30 minutes away, with funds in hand I made the trip to Tazewell and purchased my machine outright, most PT owners treat their equipment like their ''significant others'' if I have offended any PT owners with this statement please accept my apologies

I'm like that with my PT. Friends and neighbors ask to borrow it. I think about all of the oopsies and near disasters when I was learning to run it, and I offer to do the job for them instead.

On the other hand, if somebody wanted to try one out before buying, I'd find a big open space, set the throttle at idle, and wear running shoes.

I'd do the same. My trial run at PT was on par with this despite being told to get the throttle up.

I have used the 4 in 1 to pull up small trees. It works best in the spring when the ground is wet. Sometimes a 4 inch tress will come up. You can wiggle the tree left, right, forward and backward while pulling up. If the ground is wet it is amazing what you can do.
