Wondering if any PT owners have fabricated their own forks? I'm considering putting a pair together to attach to the small bucket using the same type attachment that the teeth use thinking this will give me more options for width adjustment than buying the quick attach forks from Tazewell. granted I'll lose the quick attach feature, but it's not too time consuming to put on/remove the teeth so the same would be for the forks. Also wondering if making the forks longer by say another 6" is a good idea or not. Any thoughts out there? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

It is worth a search of the other forums for various ways of fabricating and attaching forks. There have been quite a number. There are also some available commercially. I'll try to get Bubenberg to post a URL, but he's handicaped by too much work and a recent back injury, and not very communicative.

Hey, say hi to Hans for all of us. Hope he gets well, soon.

As for the forks, check fork lift shops. There is one here that has all kinds of forks, but they are too big for my tractor. They said once in a while they get smaller ones in on a salvage unit.
