If it is diesel alot of people are looking for the 7.3 engine. That would make it more valuable. On something like this you can't go by loan value. People looking for these older trucks will give good money for them. I wish I could give you a $ amount. Put it on Ebay with a reserve your happy with, and see what happens.

sorry, its the 7.3 turbo diesel, alloy ford wheels, real nice truck that needs no repair,as clean as it gets

You could probably pull close to 13k-14k if its as nice as you say. If its a stick, even more... A lot of people looking for the old 7.3:thumbsup:

That is too bad, a lot of people sell stuff there everyday.

Yea, and a lot of people get scammed there everyday too. Not to mention the huge eBay fees and that monstrosity known as PayPal that eBay now forces everyone to use. I haven't used eBay in many years and will never use it again, for anything.

I have had the opposite experience. I have bought my trailer brand new ($1200), a few cars ($4000 to $25,000), 3 boats ($28,000, $65,000, and $120,000), my tractor ($10,000), ect. All have been fair deals.

Bought and sold over 300 items and like I said, many many were big ticket items.

Your truck would go for $13-14k all day long and twice on Sunday around here if it's in the shape you say. You can always start out high and take less but no one will ever offer you more then what you're asking price is.

They command a good price because they are very hard to find with that low mileage and in decent shape. If you need to sell, I can understand that, but be sure that you will not need to replace the truck in the future. It would be unlikely that you could find the same truck in simlar shape, regardless of price.

I just finished getting my 2002 F350 DRW 7.3 4x4 sprcab w/ 120,000 miles, box in the back, HD tow package, brand new tires, fresh alignment, new brake controller, superchip program, almost mint, only used to pull a horse and collector cars, and the color was what I was wanting (like my red Ford 7.3l Maxivan and my red VW Jetta TDI) .

Paid $18K, about $2K over what I was seeing for low prices on CL and fleabay, but from an honest local guy who was willing to take it back if I wasn't satisfied.

Based on 2 years of searching I'd be surprised if you got $14K but you might.

I think the best bet is for you to set up a search on fleabay for a week or two and see what they've actually sold for in your area

sold my perfect shape 93k miles for f-250 king cab for $8500 but it was a 460 gas motor and a E40D tranny 1995 loaded, great truck but gas milage is a killer. 11-15k for the diesel. Mine also had nice aftermarket wheels, front leveling kit, 4 grand in stereo, But at 10 to 13 mpg its was a hard sell.
