I've just bought an F 806 D and I'm curious about a lever that is under the the shifting levers what does it and what purpose does it serve thank you for your time .

I would think you are referring to the park lock you push it down to engage the lock mechanism. That tractor is old enough it may not lock real well.

Well it works just need to adjust and put the spring in the right place.
