I recently purchased an Ezee-Flow 12-ft drop spreader. The chart with the opening sizes is attached to the spereader and I have included a photo. The chart refers to red numbers and black letters but the markings on the spreader are missing. Does anybody have a photo or documentation as to what the marking mean and where they would be located. Thanks!

On the one I use, there is a cam shaped piece on the front frame that is used to stop the handle, and the numbers/letters are on the cam.

There is a single bolt that holds it, and you loosen the bolt, rotate the cam to obtain the proper setting, then tighten it back down

Thanks for the info. I took a look and all the lettering and numbering on the cam is gone. Is there anywhere that describes what the it used to look like? Thanks.

I'll try to see if I can get a picture of it tomorrow.

The cam on mine is totally different, so it may not match up with your chart:

There is a 1/4 inch spacing between the marks, and the cam is about 6 inches at the longest dimension

These pics show it set on #6

Thanks for the photo. I appreciate evryone taking the time to post these. Unfortunately mine doesn't have any markings. i think they were painted on. I think I can take these and find some equivalent.

It wouldnt be hard to mark the one you have now, and stamp some numbers on it.

I've been using mine for about 8 years now, and have repeatedly used the same settings 90% of the time.

The chart seems like a good thing, but truth is it won't really be that accurate.

With a little experience, you'll soon figure out how much you need to open it to do what you want with different materials

I agree about the settings. For lime I just open mine up all the way.....and I believe I put down about 1 ton per acre with a single pass. For seeds and fertilizer I think your going to have to experiment a little to determine the rates dropped.
