After searching all the threads about Pat's vs. EZ-Hitch I have decided to go with the EZ-Hitch simply because of the price factor. Anyway, I was checking out Ebay item 300185588178 and see one of the pictures shows the EZ-Hitch as it appears on the Carter and Sons website and the other picture shows a "Round Top" version of the EZ-Hitch. Does anyone know if this is a knock-off or if the design has been changed?

I sent an email to the Ebay seller to inquire about the picture discrepancies and found out it was Jerome at Carter & Sons. Here is his reply:
"Sure, we are always looking for ways to improve upon our design and this is one variation we have come up with. By making the "J-HOOK" (the piece which is welded onto the bottom housing) out of round steel, it allows for a drawpin that is bent to still slide in and out of the "J-HOOK". This change does not affect the performance in any way. Please let me know if you have any other questions."
