I'm safety minded also; when doing dusty work I switch from outside air to circulation mode on the AC.:laughing:
Very smart to use the gear. This week I was weed eating my ditches wearing a hat, clear plastic goggles, and ear plugs. At some point a noxious weed part flew into my mouth and lodged in the back of my throat. I immediately started coughing so hard and for so long I wondered if I would need to go to the ER or if I would even make it to the ER. Dust mask is my new addition when weed eating. Not sure if it was star thistle or what, it was a bad experience.
Some with allergies have a hard time closing their mouth as they can't breathe normally through their nose. I see lots of guys wearing stuff similar to this:
