Extended Exhaust Pipe

Has anyone extended their exhaust pipe up to the top of the cab? When I'm snowblowing and the snow gets as deep as it is now the side exhaust bounces off the snow walls or building and sometimes get sucked into the cab ventilation system. If I had access to a trailer I could take it to someone but I don't.

There is not much room to modify the exhaust on a toolcat. Does your D series exhaust exit right in front of the right rear tire? The problem I have is during the summer, if I stop for a moment, the hot exhaust blows on the grass and cooks a spot about 1 foot in diameter. With the all-wheel-steering and lack of space, one has to be creative to re-rout the exhaust. :drink:

I overlooked the OP having a toolcat, my thread may not be relevant, other than providing inspiration to modify your machine to suit your needs... good luck and let us know what you come up with.

Yes, did that as I am cabbed and extended the pipe to even with my roof line. Also added a clapper valve cap to keep out the elements.

Piloon, Any pics? How did you attach it to the cab, did you use a heat shield?
