Extendable lower arms

New owner of a 55HC, my first tractor ever, so I appreciate reading these boards. When do you use the extendable lower arms? Are they for certain implements, or for ease of hooking up?

The tolerance between Lower Link "bullseyes" and Lower Link connecting pins is just a few thousands of an inch. The extendable Lower Links allows you to align implement and tractor for pin insertion without moving the tractor five times, nor jockeying heavy implements manually.

Lubricated, rust free pins insert more easily than beat up, dry pins. I like wax lube.

Telescoping Lower Links are a good feature.

With the cab tractor (maybe open too) you get a rear operated lever to adjust the lift. Works w the extendable arms to make hookup relatively easy.
