Extenda hoe

Has anyone tried to modify your SCUT backhoe into an extenda hoe? Another 12-18" would be great! Any idea's or experience with this would be appreciated.

I would think that would be a lot of work and cost. I can dig to a little over 11' but rarely do.

My only comment would be that if you added 12 inches to the leverage of a setup that was not designed for it, you could break something expensive. My neighbor has an extendahoe and he can dig 21ft deep. Very worthwhile option.

But our little CUT hoes only dig 6-7 feet and there is no factory extend a hoe for them. Another foot of reach is normally needed to pick up a rock or dump the bucket. If we overload, the hydraulics normally limit us anyway. We are talking buckets that are a foot wide.....
