We're getting more serious with our food plots and I'm starting to look at no-till drills / conservation seeders. I think I'm done choking over the prices but I gotta admit I'm not convinced yet that I'm willing to spend the $. Big draw for me, I think, is that it looks like I could plant pipeline right-of-ways and woods roads much faster & easier with one of these than constantly swapping implements.
Property is very hilly and entirely wooded with the exception of areas we're clearing for food plots (which range from a little less than 0.5 acres to 3 acres). I think it will be much easier for me to get a 3-point mounted unit to the places I want to plant than to get a tow-behind. Tractor is a 45hp Kioti.
The Frontier CS1360 is still expensive, but seems to be less expensive than a lot of other stuff and I expect it would be a quality piece of equipment.
Anyone have experience with one of these?
