I was driving around the property and caught a branch with my muffler, well needless to say it snapped off. I have the new part on order and it will be here in about a week. My question is with the diesel engine (Zen noh zl1501-kubota l1501) will I damage it if I run it without the muffler? Being a new tractor owner I don't want to ruin anything.

If its an older tractor with an all mechanical engine and without any pollution controls then you will simply have a very noisy ride

That is what I thought as well. But not knowing diesel engines that well figured it was best to ask. Thanks for your help.

u cant put on a clamp or weld it back together? - even fabricate some kind of adapter to get it quieter? even a local muffler shop could likely fix it
