Does anyone know of a tree saw that attaches to an excavator? I'm looking into trimming trees around fields as an option for my business. The only one I've found close to what I want is a Turbo Saw, but it is a little smaller than I'd like and does not off hydraulic rotation of the saw.
Thanks for any information.

A sheer would work but I think it would be slower than I'd like. I'm looking at 8-9 ton machines. I'd like to be able to cut whatever size limbs that I run into, within reason of course.

You could go with any of the skid steer models above and add a skid steer adapter to your excavator. These are all over the internet. However, with that small of a machine, the weight of the attachment may be an issue when you stretch it out. Also, aux gpm flow may be an issue, and you will need to do some custom wiring if you want the saw to rotate.

Or go with this one Turbo Saw Tree Saw for Excavators Look at the picture, they have it pictured with a rotator, which must be optional.

I seen the Turbo Saw. The rotation is manual and they said it would only handle 5in limbs.

Too bad this one is not in production.

It's not cheap, but I've bought a felling grapple saw for my excavator. Working on the mount for it tomorrow and hopefully getting it plumbed and functional Monday.

I've seen those and like the idea, but mainly would like it for trimming limbs around fields.

I thought about one of those also but thought it would be slower than what I wanted. On the other hand being able to move the cut limbs would be nice. Things to think about.
