As anyone here done their 50 hr service themselves? Trying to figure out how hard it is to do it myself!

Also is there a list for cross referencing cub filters with napa or other brand filters?

i'm in the same boat...have 25hr before the first service...and i'm no wrench

The filters are cheap enough through the dealer, so unless you just don't like the dealer, go there and have the right ones. The engine filter should be under $10 and the hydraulic around $25. Seems cheap enough to me to know you have the right stuff for a much more expensive tractor.

Also, if you buy the supplies there, they may be a bit more inclined to answer any questions you may have.

My dealer told me the 50hr maintenance supplies were included with purchase, just let him know when I reached 50hrs, so I assumed I was to do the work myself with him supplying the filters, etc.

My dealer said my 50 hr service is free but getting my tractor to the dealer is a headache...I'll see if he will just give me the supplies.

My dealer has free pickup/delivery within a 25 mile radius.
