I have before due to sales starting after I purchase one. I didn't feel great about it, but it wasn't the fault of the company offering the sale.

The fact is, someone is always going to buy before a sale, only to find that a sale was announced or started after they bought. There's simply no way around this.

Probably no way around it, but as a consumer,it sux to see it just a couple weeks after you paid full price.
Had I bought something from Lowes,or HD, and the next couple weeks they put the item on sale, I would simply return the item then re purchase it
Just the chances of buying an item on line I suppose

Since Mark has been good to us with special offers and member deals all the time, and even gave us a little "heads up" that the sale was coming, I am a little baffled at the hard feelings.

I had been planning on a purchase and was about to message him when I saw the sale notice. Checked the prices and decided to get the next bigger unit for what I was going to pay for the base model. Had I not gotten in on the sale, I am sure that the deal I would have gotten on the other unit would have still made me happy.

I try not to beat myself up too hard on missed prices or opportunities, there isn't enough money or time for me to make all the deals. If I need a tool and paid a fair price I do not feel that I got taken advantage of, even if someone else found one there, at another seller, or by the side of the road before or since. And sometimes, if I am careful, and watchful, and polite to those who are trying to help me like Mark, I can get a deal.

Perhaps the way of the future is retailers of ALL products should stick to a one price structure and NEVER offer discounts or sale prices. That way it will ensure no one will have HURT FEELINGS.

Well I've been wanting to upgrade some of my equipment for a while now and this sale is fine with me, my 250ex tig arrived last night and I like it so much I'm going to order a mig as soon as I can decide which one.

That's how i usually roll. Buy something because i need it and voila, a sale. Kind of like plugging in USB cable, 50 50 chance of getting the orientation and i get it wrong 90% of the time.
