That is a king snake wrapped around a copperhead. And he’s fixin to eat him face first.

I do not like copperheads, rattlers, cotton mouths, or corals. I’ve encountered several corals in my life, several rattlers and copperheads. Very few cotton mouths but there have been a few.

My father was stationed at Ft Detrick during WW11. They had many poisonous snakes where he worked. I got to see a Coral snake there, once. As I remember - very slender and brightly colored.

He was never able to talk about what they were doing there.
