Brand newThis was a purchase of used tractor right?
Curious where you are seeing a thoroughly used backhoe, I did use it for a few hours one dayYes, a lot of discussion but the photos look to me like a thoroughly used backhoe, not sure of the whole machine. This was a key question until the dealer stepped up and made it all right anyway (or says he will.) Seems to me like "just follow-up the work and case closed."
I would have done that if that were the case, I have 2 kubotas, one is thoroughly used and the other is fairly newYes to me it looked like many posters were thinking it was all new unit.
I think the OP should have mentioned he purchased used equipment upfront. Long story about nothing.
Yes receipts saved, thanks again for the teflon commentGlad they will come through on the fluid. Did you save receipts? Would be better if they just reimbursed you for your cost.
As said, you should not need or use teflon tape on hydraulic fittings unless they are a pipe thread. Most manufacturers use oring boss, flat face oring, or JIC flare. None of those connections require or should have teflon tape applied.
I didIf you buy something, you need to expect to go out on a limb sometimes and pay for certain screw ups. The dealer could argue, that if it was leaking, you should have stopped using it.
Thanks, I did not know this and Ill have to try it as you mentionIf your tractor is gear drive, Like my L2501, you have to give the transmission a few seconds after you clutch it to let everything in the transmission to come to a stop. If not, it will grind in each time.
