I have access to the John Deere TM2137 Technical Manual for the "4000 twenty" series. Unfortunately I cannot find any reference to an IAT, Manifold Temp etc. I'm going to keep pouring through it but I'm good with searching - must be called something else?

I do not know that you have the correct manual. The 4520 and 4720 have a separate manual since they have a computer controlled engine I think starting at 2009. That sensor goes directly to the engine computer

That is true, but the sensors and engine computer are covered in the regular manual

I'm sure having a time figuring this out. I've scoured the manual I have and there is no mention of an IAT or manifold temperature sensor. As I said I have access to the "John Deere TM2137 4120, 4320, 4520, 4720.pdf" manual. But I cant seem to find it.

you have the wrong manual. Check your serial number.
This should get you going in the right direction
