Hi all,

I was using my brush cutter with mu Kubota L3750. About 1.5 hours after operating the engine started a violent shaking and it souned like it was not working on all cylinders. I shut it down and it appears I have diesel in my oil. What are the possible scenarios I am faced with? I haven't tried restarting it. What checks can I make to determine my problem

Thanks

Ricky

There is no Kubota Model L3750.

You will receive more attention if you copy this thread, corrected, into the KUBOTA OWNING/OPERATING FORUM.

Then why put it in the Kubota section, if it is not a Kubota?? I think there IS a Kubota L3750. Maybe you mistyped your response?

I search new posts when I visit TBN, that way if anything is of interest I take a look. Jeff has his own ideas about how everyone should behave here, he is always lecturing. Mostly I ignore it unless he is just plain wrong.

There is a Kubota L3750 although it’s pretty old with production ending in 1990. And who cares what forum it’s in. Recent post or today’s post is the “only” way to view the forum. You’ve really gone overboard on your self elected forum police and copy and past replies.

I found this, which makes sense. " the most common cause of fuel in the sump is the lift pump ( prime pump) this is located between the fuel tank and the injector pump and is bolted to the side of the eng an easy replacement DIY after that it can be the base seal on the injector pump not as easy to fix though."

Now that the bickering is over, hopefully you have given an answer which the OP can use. ;)

Read the post above mine by Radio1, he gave a couple of possible reasons. Are you certain that it's diesel and not hydraulic fluid getting into your oil?
