engine problem

My son was mowing lawn for me when I realized the mower didn't sound right. I wnet to check it out. He had been mowing with the choke on for about 15 minutes. Now the tractor back fires and doesn't runn smoothly with the throttle all the way open. The mower is a Husquavarna 2148 21hp 48 in deck. What damage could have been done to cause this result. thanks

newt88, Probably fouled one of the two plugs, Take them out and clean or replace ,then give son a little boot training /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Do this first then it should be OK. Also check the oil for gas smell , If it smells like gas you should change it because of too much contamination ,due to over rich running condition... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
