I am going to be changing the engine oil in my John Deere 1025R and I was thinking of using Shell Rotellaョ T6 Full Synthetic Heavy Duty Engine Oil. Thoughts?

T6 is a good choice. Is your tractor still under warranty? If so check to make sure it meets the specs. Most likely it does.

Yep, SOPUS (Rotella, Pennzoil, Quaker State) makes a great synthetic. Should work great for you. I don't use it, but there are so many great oils in the market place. T6 is a solid performer. Only choice is to get the viscosity grade you meets your needs.

Wally world sells it for a good price. I called Cummins when I got my 6530C with the Cumming B 3.3 NA engine. I was using it in my other stock and liked it. Their reply was that it "would love for me to use Rot. T 5w-40". So I have.

I use T6. After years of oil sampling in my big trucks, I'm sold on Shell Rotella products.

Been using Rotella T-6 for 3 plus years in my Yanmar with great results. Remember to use a quality filter too.
