I am going to be changing the engine oil in my John Deere 1025R and I was thinking of using Shell Rotellaョ T6 Full Synthetic Heavy Duty Engine Oil. Thoughts?
Yep, SOPUS (Rotella, Pennzoil, Quaker State) makes a great synthetic. Should work great for you. I don't use it, but there are so many great oils in the market place. T6 is a solid performer. Only choice is to get the viscosity grade you meets your needs.
agree with above responses. been using T6 in tractor after initial break in, now 500 hrs. also use it in everything i have (4stroke) from small to large.

Wally world sells it for a good price. I called Cummins when I got my 6530C with the Cumming B 3.3 NA engine. I was using it in my other stock and liked it. Their reply was that it "would love for me to use Rot. T 5w-40". So I have.
