Many metric wrenches have a corresponding SAE size.

Not sure I'd use vise grips or channel locks unless I absolutely had to. I'd probably put it off until I had the right wrench/socket.

I just did my 2021 DK4710se oil change today and it was a 17mm.....unless I'm remembering wrong.
