I live in Northwestern Oxford county in Maine. I have used Rotella T6 full synthetic 5W-40 year round since my 50 hour oil change.
I have never had to double cycle or manually cycle the start sequence in the 8 years I have owned it. It starts faster than my gas powered truck and no exhaust smoke only condensation. Change the oil and filter every 100 hours and it will run for ever.

I use Rotella T6 5w-40 or Chevron Delo 400XSP 5w-40 full synthetic since the 50 hour first change. I always use OEM Kioti filters.
