engine number

Thanks to all for all your help in solving my blown fuse problem traced it back to a bad glow plug but now just one more question my tractor is a farm pro 2420 and has a 2 cyl diesel engine does anyone know the engine number I think its a yt290 but not sure.

I own a 2003 2420 Farm Pro and it has a yt290 engine. this is a 2 cylinder engine

Engine data - including type - is on a tag that's either riveted or glued to the engine; typically either on the valve cover, or on the side of the block

One more stupid question there are 2 levers on the right hand side of the seat one says going across en and die also same thing for up and down do these have to do with the pto and how do they operate. Thanks again for all the great info,

Just a thought -- if you google Jinma manual you will find a couple of sites that have 200 series manuals online. They help with basic operations and things like checking fluids etc.
