engine just quit

tractor was running fine and just quit. new fuel filters. full tank of diesel. cracked fuel line after filters and getting string flow of fuel. runs with starting flluid.the tank valve was closed but before it ran out i opening it. new tractor owner. 2010 545 dtc 4 wd. help

Perhaps the fuel cut-off solenoid is faulty.
