Engine block heater for BX 1500

I did a search for the BX 1500 but came up empty. Please help, if possible with pictures.

The magnet idea is pretty good, since it would be a rather cold and unpleasant task to do right now. We are expecting lows in mid single digits by week's end. We are also expecting 12" of snow on Wednesday, on top of the 5 we got this morning.

I just came in to warm up from plowing for over an hour. I have a dealer installed, (assumes Kubota) block heater. Gotta have it up here.

I googled magnetic block heater and got 72,000 hits. The first 10 showed some sources and prices.

I installed a heater hose heater in our 1973 220D. It worked great on a -22 F morning in Vermont.

Found mine in the JC Whitney catalog. They're on line now; I think.

easy and not terribly pricey.

you can use a few of them.. IE.. one on the hyds or common sump, and one on the oil ban.. and block.. plus a trickle charger for the battery.. get a couple cheap timers and use correct extension cables and rated outlets and set it up so that 2 hours before you go out in the morning the heaters and charger kick on.. that gives you a warm topped off battery and warm engine oil, and warmed hyd oil..
