I have a 7x12 enclosed trailer and would like to have some tie downs to haul a 4 wheeler and I am not scared to do the work myself but I know the road side of the plywood has some type of coating right? What can I spray to cover the holes and hardware I installed? Thanks!!

If it's not treated wood already. I would spray it with rubberized under coating . You can buy it in a spray can at auto parts or walmart. Others may have better ideas

Thank you, that's the idea I have just seeing if it's the right one. Sorry I posted this in the wrong spot I didn't see the trailer section till a minute ago.

No big deal.. I post in the wrong spot at times. You'll still get answers.

I used E-track on the floor of my new trailer to tie down my zero turn mower and side by side. It works great and you have multiple anchor spots. I just strap over one tire on each side, usually one front and one rear on the SxS, and it works like a charm.

I looked at that and that probably what I'll go with. Did you spray undercoating underneath where the bolts went through the floor?

No, I didn't use bolts, I used lag screws. But mine is also an open flat trailer with 2x6 floor. But you can still use the lag screws. I put the screws in every other hole on the e-track. It does take a lot of screws but I didn't want to be drilling holes in the floor if I didn't have to.

I used e-track on my 6x12 enclosed trailer as well. As with AndersonFarm, I just used screws to attach. I also installed two Condor Chocks for the motorcycles. Those were bolted to the floor with the holes going all the way through. I used washers on both sides for the chock's holes, but I didn't coat the holes or spray anything underneath. Now - having said this - my trailer was stored inside an enclosed building and didn't see much overall use, so your mileage may vary.
