Enclosed cabs for yanmars

Hello all, I was wandering if anyone new of an enclosed cab(preferably with an electric wiper) for any of the yanmar models. I have a 1820D not big by any means but a tad bit larger than than the 1401's and 1500's. I was doing a task here in north central texas with the tractor yesterday and had to shut down operations due to some heavy rainfall. As i was going back into town with my trailer to pick up the tractor from the work site, I was behind a larger agricultural deere with a cab(from the clarity of the windows it probably had a/c heat deffrog quadrafonic stereo...who knows mebe even microwave). The rain wasn't stopping this guy at all. made me think. Hopefully there is something out there. rccoyote

I saw an 1820 on Ebay a while back with a cab. It was in the North West somewhere.

You may have some luck with Curtiss equipment company. I don't know their address. They sell snow removal equipment and fiberglass and soft canvas cabs for JD, New Holland and Kubota. You can get wipers heaters etc. If you can't find them on the net let me know. I think I have one of their catalogs at my office.

Ha!.. I finally met someone else who says 'defrog'.

I see that northern hydraulics/tools sell a softside cabkit. for the jinma tractors... might be similare enough to a yanmar in size anyway.../w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif

We had a YM1820D with solid cab and wiper we sold a few weeks ago. We're in Idaho. We have a B1750 Kubota (not grey) with a solid cab, heat, etc.

Their are two sources we know of right now; one Japan and the other in North America. I'd start with the N.A. company but I'll have to go to the the shop to get the info and get back to you.

Thanks Robert, I would be interested in prices on both. I'm sure the japanese cab will be cheaper initially but i'm also positive that getting it over here won't be cheap. Be a good comparison to see which is cheaper in the long run. If you have any links to photo's of either one i would be interested in taking a gander at them. My only real concern is room, as in the ability to twist and turn comfortably . Thanks again. rccoyote
