eMax 22/25 info?

My dealer has been selling Mahindras for about 12 years. He will have nothing to do with stocking or selling the eMax line. He was having a hay day back when the 15 series was still being made, sold a lot of 16 series, and now is struggling for sales due to folks avoiding tier 4 engines.

That is interesting. We are only a couple hundred miles from you, and we have sold dozens of eMax tractors so far. The eMax gets to a nice price point and competes well with the BX models. The Mitsu built Max series is a little nicer (and more money) in my opinion, but there is a place for both. Your dealer is probably more focused on Ag and larger tractors. A lot of Ag dealers feel the little tractors are a nuisance.

As stated before i love and am very impressed with my max 25. many people have also commented as well as some farmers who have big tractors of the orange and green makes and also have 3 tractors apiece too.

I am most pleased. The dealer is bad news and the other dealer much farther away seems more reputable but the lady owner failed to help when i was looking into mine and that is why i bought from the first mentioned dealer. that aspect has been unimpressive.

**** nice machines!

I have the Mahindra emax22 with backhoe and loader. So far it's a good machine.

I have read complaints about the HST units going in reverse while they were in neutral on another site. I can't say as I have experienced it yet with mine. I know one of my Craftsman garden tractors does it.

Do you have the service manual? If you do you could try adjusting it.

I don't have an emax.I was just curious. I heard some scuttlebutt that the emaxs were having problems with the neutral adj. This was supposed to be an issue with units equipped with backhoes.Seems the frames were twisting under heavy use.

They have a kit to fix the creeping, not sure if the word is out yet. It involves some shouldered bolts that fit the frame holes precisely to keep flex down, and I think a different neutral valve. Anybody with this issue might want to contact their dealer who would then contact the service rep and see if these are available yet. If not, soon. And new TLB's coming out of the DC's have this improvement. All the little SCUTS with a ladder frame have some flex, that isn't a problem. Managing the flex is key, it needs to not cause issues with any of the systems.

DavesTractor thanks for heads up. Called my dealer and he's ordering the kit and scheduling the work.

How hard would it be to install this kit oneself? Or is this covered under the warranty, probably minus transportation to the dealer? I don't have a hoe on mine and the creep (forward only) has been minor, just haven't gotten under it to make an adjustment.

We put ours up on a lift so we can stand under the tractor and do the job. Not so easy on these low slung tractors to do the work on the floor. I'd take it to the dealer, but call first as I do not think they are putting the kits on tractors without backhoes. I suppose if it is good for a backhoe it ought to be good for a tractor with just a loader, I understand that reasoning. But as far as I know, the kits are not necessary on the units without a backhoe. I think on about every HST of all models and brands it is hard to get the pedal to always center exactly in neutral under all conditions. It's smart to make sure things are centered and set the brake when you get off. Or shut it off.

What brand 3ph post hole did you buy?

When will they make a hard cab to,replace the soft one? Seems to me they gave all their attention to the Emax instead of the Max, and the Emax is a freaky BX series in red.
