Email Subscription

Since our new server is on a new IP address, it seems the new IP is being blocked by ATT/Yahoo and Hotmail. The old IP was being blocked by AOL. Now the new IP is good with AOL. :laughing:

We're working on a couple of solutions that will relay mail through another SMTP server that is white listed and should deliver to 99%+.

Me too, I'm only getting maybe 40% of them.

After switching to AOL I was getting my notices but AOL would spam them unless I set filter to low and then I spent much more time sorting junk from my usefull mail and realized I was getting much more junk than usefull mail.

Saw ATT/Yahoo users saying they were good again so I switched back to ATT/Yahoo and I am getting all notices, working fine again.

Mine are working so-so.. I get the feeling there's more of a delay than before (2 hours or more) and all of the notifications might not be getting through.

It MIGHT be your choice of email service, I have both gmail and hotmail. I normally use hotmail, but I switched my email to the gmail service again and received notification of your post almost immediately.

You can set up hotmail to monitor an alternate email account and let you know when that mailbox receives a message.

It's also possible that emails are being sent out in "batches" after a given number of responses are accumulated, I have no idea how that's set up.

I use Outlook to download email from my AT&T/Yahoo account. More correctly it is an sbcglobal.net acount from Southwestern Bell which was bought out by AT&T. Both use Yahoo Mail as the email server. I really do not want to have to use another email server if TBN can fix the problem.
