A couple of weeks ago I moved some cows for a neighbor (2 short trips) - instead of hooking the stock trailer to the truck I chose to do the move with the tractor.
While on public roads, about 15 min. per trip, the hazard lights were used. When I was returning to the barn I noticed the hazard lights no longer worked. I finally got around to checking the fuse (assuming that to be the problem) - NOPE. Tried 2 different fuses same results. There is nothing wrong with the original.
All of the lights work except the hazards. I have not pulled apart the console beneath the steering wheel to gain access to the switch.
Any thoughts as to probability of a bad switch or possibly some other component gone bad.

Thanks, Mark

Rock the 4 way flasher switch on and off several times. Occasionally I noticed this same problem when plowing snow this winter. Sometimes I'd turn the flashers on and nothing happened. I rapidly turned the switch on and off a few times and they started working. I'd suspect the contacts inside the switch. I haven't replaced mine yet but will probably order a new switch when I place my next filter order.

Check the turn signals to see if they work by themselves. If they do the flasher is OK since the flasher is the same.

Thanks George, I'll give that a try. Turn signals and all other lights work as they should.

Defective flasher? I assume it uses an old thermal flasher like every car or truck for decades did or is it electronic?

Just ordered the switch and flasher this AM. When I pulled the console (beneath the steering wheel) to access the switch - found the connector to the switch was loose, very loose. I'm surprised it had worked at all.
Dealer said the flasher has a relay in it for the hazard lights. So, the turn signals work - individual flasher?
