Electrical Connector

Can anyone tell me what type of electrical connector is illustrated in the picture? This is under the dash (behind the right side lower console panel) on my XG3037 and is not connected to anything. Thanks.

Could it be an OBD2 connector like a car has - perhaps to allow the dealership access to the computer? It looks similar.

After further research, that is exactly what it is.... a diagnostic connector. Thank you.
