On a 19 horse Briggs & Stratton, I need to know PRECISELY what the air gap is to be on the clutch. this motor is on a Cadet Tank and after a few rounds the clutch just stops, so I turn it off a few min. and back on and the same thing. It even will stop when there is very little (short) grassy area. Need help!!!!

There are a few variables on adustment, but most electric clutches are set at .012 inch.

OP- Randy is correct on air gap setting if your clutch is adjustable type. Another cause of clutch dropout is a weak battery or a marginal charging system.
