EFI Warning Light

I know that I'm on the wrong part of the discussion group, but you guys KNOW your stuff.

I was out plowing and the EFI warning light on my X585 flashed at me. I killed the engine and it stayed out. When it flashed it flashed two long flashes and two short ones.

Anyone have any idea. On restart, it stayed out.

Hello

You had a EFI MOD. air/fuel pressure calculation error. Turn off key wait for pump to stop an restart. hope this helped .

Thanks. I did a turn off and wait for 1 minute and the light stayed off. The unit runs great. Thanks for helping someone with a tractor that is a bit smaller than most on this group

Mine does the same thing...especially in cold weather when the engine's cold. I don't even key off; it goes away in a few seconds. Don't think it's anything to worry over.

Hey, at least our gas engines start in the cold without heaters!!!

I appreciate the help from this board, so I'm not going to risk honking off the people who gave me a good comment. Yes, I do like having a gas tractor, but I recognize that if I had a bigger tractor I'd have to go diesel.
