Editing Smiley Messages

Not exactly a crisis, but I notice that if I edit one of my messages that includes some of the new smiley faces [image]/w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif[/image], some get turned into the longhand text version of the image tags with a dubious url. /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

This message, for example, looked fine (all smiley faces intact) until I edited it. [image]/w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif[/image] Interesting, now that I try it again -- some work fine and some don't. /w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif

Hmmm... even more interesting -- now I notice that the posted message came out a little[/b] better than the preview, so I've attached a screen shot of my preview window.

On several occasions I have attempted to "edit" and get "locked" and have to logoff and come back and start over. Have not attempted smiley faces during edit. I'll be watching to find out what I've been doing wrong.
