I've just fired up the 42" hydraulic tiller that came with my 3225.

I was told that the former owner hadn't used it in a couple years. Upon closer inspection, the hardware for mounting the pump below the frame had never been used or even attached to the frame, though the tiller obviously has been used. I'm thinking, based on a receipt that I found, that the former owner bought the tiller used, found it lacked the mounting hardware, bought the mounting kit and never got around to hooking it up.

We've got several gardening projects that I need to start on as soon as the ground will allow, so I hooked it all up today, cleanup the roots/string wrapped around the shaft, got it going without incident and decided to try it out on a bit of thawed ground.

WOW!! It sunk right in, chewed up the grass and soil and spit out the nicest looking wet earth.

This beast gives a whole new meaning to the expression "Eat dirt!":D

thunderbirl-

I sure would like to see some close ups of that tiller. Any chance you could post some photos?

Thanks-
