Easy rops brackets

Hey guys,
Just thought I would post a little tip I figured out over the weekend that may help someone else. Spare tire brackets like this one from Amazon work great as a mounting bracket for your rops. You can clamp it right on and use the existing bolts to mount a toolbox or string trimmer brackets or whatever. Cheap too. They run as little as $25 which is cheaper than any dedicated rops brackets that I've found.

If you were mounting right up against the rops that would be a good solution. I did that for a rear box on mine but I like how these give some clearance between whatver you're mounting and the tractor.

$25-33 is a price increase of 32%. We are told inflation is at an affordable 8% but the cost is rising exponentially

I own a Kubota l245dt and am building my own ROPS next spring. I bought 4 -1/2 x 3 1/4 x 6 ubolts to mount it to rear axle. Going to use 2x2x1/4 angle iron as the top plate on ubolts and weld the square pipe to the angle iron. I'll post a pic when it's done.

Sure but it would at least be Front Wheel Drive at that point.
