The dyno light came on today as I was using a middle buster. Finished the plowing for the day, and found that the "Molex" type connector that goes from the dyno to the regulator has no locking detent. Just plugged it back in, and the light now is out. Just wondering how often this will become disconnected in the future, as it slid back together very easy.

Can't speak as to the likelihood, but a lobster claw band will keep them together nicely, without it being permanent.

Don't know what a "lobster claw' clamp is. The molex conector is very small, not much room to put any clamp on.

Hehe. Thinking too technical. It is a thick rubber band used to keep lobsters from opening their claws and clamping you. :)

A dab of silicone around it will help if zip ties aren't handy.

I keep stainless safety wire around for such fixes.

I would use electrical tape. Zip ties weather and become brittle and break.
