Dump Trailer for L 48 TLB?

If you haven't found a trailer builder, there's a guy in Manns Choice near Bedford, PA that builds custom trailers. He built a dump trailer for me. He builds only on order. He doesn't have pre-built trailers for sale. Since he sells direct there's no dealer markup involved.

I spent over an hour with him going over every detail of the trailer down to specing the same tires on the trailer as on my truck. He's been in the business long enough that he knows what works and what doesn't. He knows his stuff. He used to build 50T lowboys in the same shop. He made several suggestions that have worked out well.

It's really nice to get exactly what you want and still save money.

Leoniru, I have a Bri-Mar dump , it's a 14' low profile HD. 12000 GVW with the extra width option. I also have an L - 48 TBL that I haul on it. First off it is a great trailer, and hauls the L - 48 just fine but, it hangs out front and rear. There's not much room to move around for tongue weight ajustment, but I have had no problem with sway. The trailers hyd. are strong , I haven't found anything it can't dump.
A 20' dovetail would be better to haul the tractor. It's tough to get one trailer ( or anything ) to do everything and do it well.

What size truck are you using to tow the L48?

Littlediesel, I have a 2000 Super-Duty DRW with a Powerstroke. It does a nice job with the trailer and hoe.
