dummy Needs help D100 BH

I have a D100 BH and am going to hook it to my Case 1840 skidsteer
The BH has no supply or return line
My question is do I need to plumb in a by pass line with a check valve
And how do I tell what line is supply and return

My 1840 has aux hook up and has a foot valve to control the hydraulic
15 GPM 2600 PSI
any help would be appreciated thanks

You need to make up a hose set with male and female QD from the BH valve to match the set on the skidsteer.

You may have to reduce engine speed to reduce the GPM's or it might be to fast.

You need a way to lock on the hyd flow to the BH.

Make up a hyd gage with QD and plug in the gage to the AUX circuit for a sec, and you will hear the relief and see pressure. Flat face QD's

The BH used different valves, so look for the valve you have.

I have the D100 on a Case 360 Trencher.

My foot control has a lock on it for the hyd flow
I have the QD;s and hose
So my understanding is that it dosen't hurt that aux pump to dead head to the B/H
Thats why I was wondering about a by pass with a check in it

If your QD's are good you should not deadhead the pump.

When you lock the Aux on, the flow will go out to the BH, and return.

If your should pop a QD, the Aux valve should relieve
