Dumb Question

I recently purchased a new Mahindra 3016 and only have about 10 hrs on it. I noticed there could be some sediment in the bottom of the fuel bowl and was going to clean it. I looked in the manual and it showed there is a fuel shutoff valve on the 3616, but could not find information in the manual for the 3016. The manual says to shutoff off the fuel before removing the bowl, but I cannot locate the fuel shutoff switch.

I am not familiar with your tractor, but if the manual does not show the location, perhaps you can call the dealer that you purchased from. If he doesn't know, one of his mechanics will surely know the answer . Good Luck.:tractor:

The fuel shut off should be part of the filter assy. The lever should be on the aluminum casting.

I think your tractor replaced my 2816. I have not looked at that the 3016, but on my tractor the fuel bowl is directly below my fuel tank and fuel pump which is on the back. It does have a fuel shut off valve that is incorporated into the fuel bowl assembly.

This may not be much help, but I am sure Mahindra kept a few parts the same.
