After 22 years I decided that it was time to replace the loader hoses on my B7800. Always parked outside in the desert. They looked still good, just being cautious. I had one quick connect that was seeping so I ordered a new female connector. It was a month or so until I got to the install. Put the new hoses on and went to my supply drawer and found the “new” coupler. I put it on and the curl function was extremely slow. It took 20 or 30 seconds to dump a load.

I rechecked the couplers a couple of times to make sure they were properly seated and no change. I go back to my supply drawer and there was the “new” coupler still in a Kubota bag. I replaced it and all is now well.

I’m guessing that the other non Kubota female coupler was slightly different and did not fully push on the “pin” and it restricted the flow.
