where are/were the duetz-allis tractors made?? anyone know anything about them?? am looking at a 24hp 4wd that they are asking $3500 for..

The CUTs were made by Hinomoto from 86-90. Not sure about the parts availabilty on them though,and if they crossed over to Massey models or not.

Yes, they were made by Hinomoto/Toyosha. You are likely looking at a DA 5215 or 5225 if I remember the model numbers correctly. They cross reference to the Massey 1020 and 1030 tractors directly, but parts are tricky to find. I have a Hinomoto massey and it is a great tractor, but you will likely find cheaper parts by posting on the grey market section asking about hinomotos.

I have an AC 5020 and I have been able to get the parts through the AC,, oops Agco dealer where I purchased the tractor new. I beleive the machines were made by Hinomoto, with Toyosha engines at least my AC was.
