Drove Ted\'s DK-45

Ted Lynn graciously allowed me to try out his DK-45 yesterday. It was nice dry day--the fourth one in a row--sort of a record around here of late.

I was very impressed with the DK-45. It is obviously a quality product and seemed very easy to operate (I haven't driven anything of that size since I ran a Unimog in the early 70's, and I am beyond rusty). All the controls fell readilly to hand, and I felt quite comfortable operating the tractor, even though I initially thought I wouldn't. Like my property, Ted's has a lot of slope, and it is a bit disconcerting to get one's feet wet on someone else's tractor on a hillside.

Kioti was the first of the brands that I identified as serious contenders for my tractor dollar, and it is still right up there after getting to driving one. Thanks Ted.
