Drone suggestion

This is a description of a drone operator that will simply never generate complaints. If every drone operator was as courteous, drone privileges would not be under attack and new regulations wouldn't be needed. Kudos to you.

Thank you. I try.

Last year I took the drone to a coastal town in NSW and thought I would get some nice footage, signs everywhere 'No Drones', I asked why and was told that the coastguard helipad was on top of the hill, we went for a look and there was nowhere a chopper could land, I suspect locals are just sick of irresponsible operators, we can't use them in national parks, the wording is 'no remote controlled aircraft' so I take that to mean I can suspend a Gopro under a kite as it is tethered, I'll wager they will find some way of stopping you.
I was approached once in a national park and asked if I had a drone, I said yes and they said they wanted to confiscate it, I said I would have to home 400km and get it for them, they were not amused but I do enjoyed being a sanctimonious pedant with power hungry minions who do not have the power they think they do.
As for National Parks, the signage, No Shooting, No Fishing, No Camping, No Rubbish, No Stopping on side of road, No driving off road, No open fires, No feeding wildlife, No picking wildflowers, Enjoy your visit.

No drone flying in National Parks but it is OK for them to set them on fire and 'cold burn' killing all the animals and birds but, No, we can't fly over the top not disturbing anything.

I'm just reluctant to put my hand in there. I suspect the prop would cut a finger cleanly off....

Maybe I am just naive about this because I've never been bitten by one, but from the times I have 'bumped' things, the good-sized Phantom props didn't really seem to nick what they hit, so I'm not really afraid of it doing much damage to my finger if it does catch me. Now, my evil-tempered dachshund on the other hand...

BRILLIANT!! LOL! I guess I would make a lousy citizen around there!

I'm on the fence about flying in National Parks. Some go there to quietly observe nature. Hard to do when a Drone is buzzing around.

I guess to fully understand this you would have to experienced it? Have you ever been outside and suddenly a Drone appears overhead? It's unnerving.
