M 60 Tank Cub Cadet
Hello new to the forum I have a m60 cub cadet with 25 hp Kawasaki. I was wondering if anyone knows the length of the drive belt. Mine shredded the other day and its difficult to measure due to missing shredded pieces thanx in advance

I think you are going to have to look it up with a cub cadet parts diagram. They list SEVERAL models with the 25HP kaw engine. 9 to be exact. Need to know the exact one and possibly the year.

Here, this may help. The drive belt is listed under "engine assembly"

why not pull it & take to Napa or O'reilley...cheaper than dealer.

It's all quite simple actually. Measure the distance from the center of one pully to the center of the other pully. Now measure the circumference of the two pullys. Take the square root of the larger pully, multiply it by Pi and divide it by 2.43. Then subtract half the distance between the two pullys. In my experience this will give you a belt length, that once purchased, will give you one more incorrect belt to hang on the barn wall.
At this point, I have quite a collection.

Tried a standard sized drive belt on my Agco(Simplicity) when it shredded. Would not adjust properly and slipped. Smaller belt would not fit. Had to get a factor belt because it was oddball size.
